The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable for the 2027 general elections, outlining key dates for the sale of nomination forms and party primaries.
According to the schedule, the sale of forms will commence at the party’s National Secretariat from April 25 to May 2, 2026.
The party fixed the cost of its presidential nomination form at N100 million, while the governorship form is pegged at N50 million.
Primary elections for the presidential ticket are scheduled to hold between May 15 and May 16, 2026.
Other primary election dates include:
a. House of Representatives: May 18, 2026
b. Senate: May 20, 2026
c. State House of Assembly: May 21, 2026
d. Governorship: May 23, 2026
The breakdown of nomination form fees is as follows:
a. State House of Assembly: N6 million
b. House of Representatives: N10 million
c. Senate: N20 million
d. Governorship: N50 million
e. Presidential: N100 million
The announcement signals the party’s early preparations for the 2027 elections, with political activities expected to intensify in the coming months.
